Digital Photography for Dentists Overview
This seminar is for the dentist, hygienist and the motivated team member who are interested in implementing digital photography and advance their practice.
Educational Objectives
With the emergence of the digital camera and computer technology, we now have the tools that can quickly and reliably reproduce images that document our clinical procedures, disease, trauma and abnormalities. These images can be used to communicate more effectively the possibilities of modern dentistry and advance your patient's treatment acceptance. The topics during this course will be:

Teaching Methods
Lecture with Q&A, and hand's on use of participants own camera. The class will be very interactive and fun. You will leave ready to implement your newly acquired skills.
What to Bring
SLR Camera (recommendations)
Canon DSLR with 100mm Lens, Ring Flash or
Nikon DSLR camera body with 105 VR Lens and Ring Flash or Wireless Macro Flash
Laptop computer with the following software:
Photoshop CS3 or CS4
Powerpoint
Card reader

Dr. Watts received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree in 1988 from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He continued his dental education at St. Luke's Hospital advanced residency program in Cleveland, Ohio. He established Watts Dental Associates, P.C. in 1989 where he continues to practice full time. His commitment to education has led him to share his knowledge and experience with future health care providers. Since 1998, Dr. Watts has served as an adjunct faculty member in the biological sciences department at Prince George's Community College. He has used digital photography clinically and educationally as a method to communicate with his patients and students.

Cancellation Policy: Refunds will be made with written notice of cancellation received at least three weeks prior to the course. A $50 processing fee is charged on all refunds. In case of a program being cancelled, all payments will be fully refunded.
